We make repairs and upgrades for homes with a focus on safety, healthy and sustainable environments for the elderly, disabled, veterans and other low-income households who want to age-in-place as long as possible. It is only through multiple funding sources, grants, donations from local organizations and our special volunteers giving thousands of hours of their time to help the hundreds of homeowners we touch annually. Some of these homeowners are still waiting for repairs from past hurricane damage that were not covered by FEMA or Insurance claims. And most recently we are excited to partner with home prevention programs and home modification collaboratives to make necessary changes to reduce injuries in the home, thereby reducing costs to the over-burdened medical insurance industry in anticipation of reducing premiums to homeowners living on low /medium fixed incomes.
