Forming part of the senior management team and reporting to the Managing Director, I am responsible for all IT, communications and end user support throughout the business. I continuously plan and evaluate the group IT strategy to ensure the department is delivering high levels of service and value to both the end users and the organisation as a whole. I am involved in every aspect of the business from initial customer enquiry through to manufacturing and installation.My primary function within the organisation is to seek out and identify areas of the business which could be improved by implementing technology based solutions. I present proposals and proof on concept apps to the board of Directors for approval. Once approved I hand the project over to the development team whilst retaining overall responsibility for the project management and delivery.As part of the Senior Management Team at Roundel I have played a significant role in growing the business from a turnover of £6m to £25m. I thrive on the challenge of taking existing processes and procedures, breaking them down and rebuilding them in a modern and streamlined way.
