I worked summers and every college break possible to help fund college. I sold some of the earliest personal computers. Apple II, Commodore PET, Atari 800/400. I would also configure systems with Floppy Disks, Monitors, Ram, etc.

Sales Associate at Radio Shack. Here I sold anything and everything to do with electronics. During this time I acquired my first computer... A TRS-80 Model 1. With this computer I learned Z80 assembly language (which was not taught at college) which I then applied to one of my first projects at Hewlett-Packard... Working on terminal firmware that also used the Z80 processor!
