QMA is Qatar’s pre-eminent Cultural institution, employing over 1,000 staff and responsible for all Arts, Museum, Cultural heritage and associated education activities for the State. QMA is chaired by HE Sheikha Mayassa , sister of the present Emir. QMA operates the iconic Museum of Islamic Art, The Arab Museum of Modern Art (MATHAF) and organizes landmark exhibitions with world renowned artists including Murakami, Serra and Hirst. QMA is also engaged in the development and construction of major Museum projects.Reporting to Executive Director & CEOAchievements include:-Part of senior leadership team responsible for delivering major 10 year project plan to State Leadership, including presentations to Emir, Prime Minister and Ministry of Finance officials; including comprehensive forecasts of opex, capex and socio-economic impact analysis.Led major finance transformation program, introducing new disciplines, systems and re-focusing the Finance team to provide improved service to operating units.Re-engineered entire Finance planning process, introducing 3 year planning cycle, setting strategic objectives linked to Qatar’s National Vision and preparation of individual Business Plans and activities. As a result, producing a more coherent and deliverable annual budget.Acted as senior financial advisor to HE The Chairperson, and Executive Director (Ed Dolman, previously CEO of Christie’s) on a number of important projects and initiatives, both within Qatar and internationally.Delivered several important OD projects, acting as lead financial advisor on structure and process transformation change. Member of HC, IM, Procurement and Finance transformation committees.
