Newark Airport Terminal One, New JerseyLead the reset of the baseline schedule to establish interim milestone dates and a final completion date for this $2.7B, one million square foot, 33 gate new airport terminal.

Responsible for managing the scheduling group (3 schedulers) for the Engineering Department and providing guidance to the seven on-site schedulers of the Construction Management Division (CMD). Provided scheduling support for two design-build substation project procurements at JFK Airport. Worked closely with the JFK Airport Redevelopment group and Terminal One developer team to establish guidelines and scheduling best practices and perform schedule reviews. Provided scheduling guidance on several federally funded PATH projects with scheduling compliance issues.

MTA/New York City Transit 207th Street Yard, New YorkDeveloped the baseline schedule for this $380M contract. The project consists of signal system modernization, construction of new facilities including Relay Rooms, Train Control and Communications Based Train Control (CBTC) rooms and restoration of track infrastructure. In addition, the work also includes furnishing and installing flood mitigation and resiliency structures and measures, such as steel and concrete walls, flood gates, fabric portal flood gate, drainage improvement, replacement of track feeder, transposition cables and appurtenances.

2015-Present Lead Scheduler, MOCA SystemsDelta Airlines LaGuardia Airport New Terminal C Project, New York Led the development of the project baseline schedule for the New Terminal C Project as a subconsultant to Delta Air Lines. The new $4B terminal includes 4 concourses, headhouse, substation, aircraft parking ramps and 4 elevated departure roadways. Coordinated with the Port Authority to establish a WBS and schedule guidelines for the project schedule to assist in producing an IMS (Integrated Master Schedule). The IMS is used to identify interface milestones with the adjacent $4B Terminal B redevelopment project being constructed by LaGuardia Gateway Partners (Skanska-Walsh, JV is the contractor). Prepared a cost-loaded 900 activity summary level schedule for analysis of cash flow.

2011-2015 Scheduling Manager, Tutor Perini Civil Group - Northeast Prepared bid schedules working with lead estimators and joint venture partners on major project bid proposals including Kosckiuszko Bridge; LaGuardia Central Terminal (Terminal B) Redevelopment; Metro North Harmon Shop; and MTA East Side Access contracts CM014B – Grand Central Terminal Concourse, CM007 – Station Caverns and CH057 – Harold Structures Part 3.MTA/Long Island Rail Road East Side Access, MTA Capital Construction, New York Led the scheduling effort on successful proposals for four new East Side Access contracts totalling $1.6B. The proposal schedules identified critical program interfaces and strategies for meeting program completion milestones and reducing schedule risk. Systems Facilities Package 1 (CS179), Manhattan North Structures (CM006), Plaza Substation and Queens Structures (CQ032) Scheduling Manager responsible for managing the project schedules for three contracts with a budget of over $1B as part of the $10B East Side Access project. The CS179 contract is critical to completing the East Side Access project and starting revenue train service to Grand Central Terminal from Long Island. The three project schedules were linked to produce an integrated project schedule for executive level reporting and progress monitoring. Harold Structures Part 1 (CH053) Project Scheduler for this $295 million project to expand and reconfigure Sunnyside Yard in preparation for future passenger rail tunnels as part of the $10 billion East Side Access project to connect the Long Island Rail Road to Grand Central Terminal. The project scope includes construction of a two lane vehicular bridge, widening of three existing railroad bridges, a 900 foot tunnel approach structure, 5,225 feet of retaining walls, a 4,500 square foot substation, 15,150 feet of new underground utilities, and installation of over 100 catenary and signal tower structures.

2010-2011 Design Certification Task Manager, Parsons Transportation Group / Downtown Design PartnershipWorld Trade Center Transportation Hub, New York – Design Certification Manager for the construction of the Santiago Calatrava designed, $4 billion transportation hub for the Port Authority (PA). Responsible for managing a team of architects and engineers reviewing the construction of the Hub and tracking items of non-conformance. Assisted in resolving items of non-conformance so that the architect or engineer of record can certify to the PA that the construction conforms to the requirements of the contract documents. All non-conformance items were resolved enabling the 9/11 Memorial Plaza to be opened for the tenth anniversary.

2010 Project Scheduler, Schiavone Construction Co. / Schiavone-Kiewit, JVMTA/Long Island Rail Road East Side Access – Northern Boulevard Crossing, New York – Project Scheduler for Contract CQ039, the construction of a $85 million tunnel below Northern Boulevard of approximately 125 feet in length. The tunnel will connect the Harold Interlocking Mainline with the tunnels and structures leading to Grand Central Terminal. The tunnel was excavated through a series of sequenced excavations constructed below Northern Boulevard and the active IND and elevated BMT Subway lines. Prior to performing the excavation, a temporary underpinning system was installed to support the BMT structure.2009-2010 Project Scheduler, Schiavone Construction Co. / Schiavone-WDF, JVNewtown Creek Water Pollution Control Plant Upgrade, Greenpoint, NY – Project Scheduler for construction of NYCDEP’s 42,500 square feet Central Residuals Building. The CRB is a reinforced concrete and steel structure that will contain the sludge screening, skimming concentration, degritting raw wastewater flow meter, material handling conveyance and charcoal odor control systems. This facility will be connected to the larger plant complex with the installation of the underground piping ductbanks and utility work. Responsibilities include developing the baseline resource and cost loaded schedule and management of a CPM scheduling subconsultant.

2006-2009 Schedule Manager, Bovis Lend Lease / Phoenix Constructors, JVWorld Trade Center Transportation Hub, New York – Schedule Manager for the construction of the Santiago Calatrava designed, $4 billion transportation hub for the Port Authority (PA). The terminal connects a network of passageways linking commuter trains, ferry boats, 14 subway lines and potentially an AirTrain station (connecting JFK Airport to Lower Manhattan). Developed and maintained an integrated master project schedule for over 20 early construction work packages consisting of 10,000 activities, with a total cost of $700 million. The schedules were cost/resource-loaded to provide the basis for planning and determining the earned value of work in place, which was used as the basis for monthly progress payments. Prepared procedures and guidelines for managing the master project schedule and transitioning to P6. Responsible for coordinating schedules with package managers, resident engineers, and PA consultants to ensure they comply with standards and provide an accurate representation of the status of construction. Supervised four schedulers.

2004-2006 Senior Civil/Schedule Engineer, Parsons Transportation Group / Downtown Design PartnershipWorld Trade Center Transportation Hub, New York – Lead Civil Engineer for design of the Permanent PATH Terminal of the Santiago Calatrava designed, $3 billion transportation hub. 2000-2004 Senior Civil/Schedule Engineer, Parsons Transportation GroupMTA/Long Island Rail Road East Side Access, New York – Lead Civil Engineer for the design of a new LIRR terminal on the existing lower level of Grand Central Terminal (GCT) as part of the $7 billion East Side Access project to connect LIRR with GCT. Responsible for demolition; design of utility relocations; construction staging; and Maintenance and Protection of Traffic schemes related to the construction of the street level entrances that will provide direct access to the new LIRR concourse.

1998-2000 Senior Civil/Schedule Engineer, TAMS Consultants, Inc.Continental Airlines - Newark Airport Global Gateway, New Jersey – Senior Civil Engineer/Airside Project Manager for airside planning, construction phasing and final civil design in support of a new 325,000 sf concourse designed to accommodate 12 widebody or 19 narrowbody aircraft gates on a constricted site directly adjacent to an existing concourse and formerly used to hardstand commuter aircraft. In addition, over 400,000 sf of new related facilities were to be constructed including a 135 ft high operations control tower, baggage handling and FIS facilities and landside roadways. The project was constructed on a fast track schedule at a cost of $532 million as part of the Port Authority’s $1.6 billion Global Gateway program. Extensive coordination with the Port Authority, airline operations and construction manager was required to minimize the impact on airport operations. Responsibilities included aircraft parking ramp and jetbridge planning and design, ramp and taxilane pavement design, storm drainage and hydrant fueling system design, and utilities coordination.

1997-1998 Senior Civil/Schedule Engineer, Parsons Transportation Group Rail Rapid Transit Access to LaGuardia Airport, New York - Civil Engineer for the initial engineering analysis for the four alternative alignments. The horizontal and vertical geometry for each alignment was developed to prepare an assessment of the types of construction to be utilized within the alignment corridors. The assessment included an evaluation of both elevated and underground options. (1998)Newark Airport Station Connection to the Northeast Corridor, New Jersey - Project Controls Engineer responsible for scheduling and cost control for the Newark Airport Station Monorail Connection to the Northeast Corridor. The project consisted of over 15 separate construction contracts with a total budget of $120 million. The construction included a new station, communication and signals, and extensive track work.
