within the Customer Analytics team within M&S Money, which is now part of the cross brand Analytics function for HSBCThe role involved completing requested analysis of the customer data for M&S Money, First Direct & HSBC, however more importantly having the knowledge and understanding to start ad-hoc analysis to aid the future strategy of the business.My notable achievements in this role include:The reduction of the number of people needed to run the P&L Models from 4 down to 1 along with the redesign and process improvement of the Credit Models.Reducing the time it takes to run the yearly segmentation run from 2 days down to 4 ½ hours, along with ensuring that the running was 100% accurate. This was done by becoming lead analyst on the project and recommending to the segmentation team ways in which we could improve it and then taking ownership of the implementation of these suggestions.Being selected to become the lead analyst for the creation of a segmentation solution for another part of HSBC. Which included developing and implementing a brand new segmentation solution for the company. The project took just over 3 months to complete and aided me in developing my stakeholder management.

Within the Store Sales and distribution team, responsible for the management of one individual along with accountability for all reporting of sales and performance information to 400+ Stores and Executive level in M&S, M&S Money and HSBC. I was also responsible for the month to month planning and running of the budget of the Store Sales team. This included taking a pro-active stance on cost control to ensure that the budget was not exceeded.My notable achievements in this role include:Developing an individual from the call centre with issues around Time keeping and sickness into someone who is now seen within the team as punctual and a valued member of the team, this was successfully done through regular one-2-one’s, personal development plans, coaching and informal discussion.Improving the timeliness and quality of reporting to M&S store and Executives by designing, developing, building and implementing a full reporting database and dashboard system. Since this time I have been asked by representatives from M&S Money to consult on other projects to assist in the designing of new databases.Assisting a colleague in HSBC Australia to deliver the successful launch of the HSBC Australia Woolworths Credit Card, by designing a bespoke system for allowing the sales staff to see how the point system works on the Credit Card.
