I have over 20 years’ experience in retail and eCommerce logistics. I spent 11 years in operational roles across Food, General Merchandise & Clothing and over 8 years’ experience in Infrastructural Capacity Modelling, Network Design/Strategy and Project Initiation. My background was gained at ASDA Logistics Services. From a graduate scheme in 2003 that taught me operations in ambient, chill and clothing warehouse to several years as a Planning Manager covering headcount right-sizing, rota design and labour control. In 2014 I seized the opportunity to join the Engineering Team in Capacity, helping me develop skills in modelling, technical drawing, business case development and project initiation for large capital expenditure to accommodate future growth or business change.I am trained in software packages AIMMS and Llamasoft’s Supply Chain Guru for Network Design as well as Körber Class and AutoCAD for technical drawing that compliment my own capacity modelling tools.
