Business Planning  Consolidates the report of various department heads and prepares the Business Plan  Presents the Business Plan to top officers for review and scenario analysis  Monitors the Business Plan and report significant variations to the Management  Prepares business plan for outside parties Company-wide budget consolidation, performance evaluation and monitoring  Assists Department Managers and Staffs in budget creation and budget processes using the Budget System  Presents quarterly budget review to the Budget Committee highlighting significant variances  Serves as a link between the Department Heads and Budget Committee (Directors) on issues about variances and help resolve them Review of accounting transactions  Checks capital expenditures, procurements, and recurring expenditures substantiating controls observed while highlighting the appropriateness and correctness of journal entries, computations and departmental classifications Supervise accountants  Checks and ascertain correctness and completeness of BIR forms monthly filed by the LuisitaTrust Fund (affiliate) to BIR  Checks compensation payments of retired employees and certified the correctness of their income taxes Assistance to the top management  Directly reports to the Vice-President for Finance regarding financial reports and outcomes  Assists the VP-Finance on report preparation for weekly executive meeting  Prepares reports for the Company Owners
