I am a Body Evaluation Engineer for Toyota Motor Europe's (TME) Vehicle Performance Engineering, based in Brussels, Belgium.My main responsibilities are focused on the development of Body Functional Items (Doors, Wiper/Washer, Mirrors, etc.) for Toyota vehicles, as well as planning & conducting the evaluations for pedestrian safety according to Euro NCAP protocols for recent.I also performed evaluations for front knuckle design with lighter cast material, running & comparing deformation results from the CAE model to actual measurement results. This involves the pre-development & design of the product, determining the performance target, then planning & performing the evaluations (by TME, and/or in collaboration with product supplier) to ensure the product meets our customers'​ satisfaction.I have been responsible for a large number of projects & investigations, such as studies of actual customer usage in the market, fact finding studies to re-evaluation the target setting, & field claim investigations & countermeasures.For my most recent project, I was the project leader for a major facility improvement of TME's Body Function Test Equipment in Toyota's European technical centre in Zaventem, BelgiumThis project was completed in mid-2015, to very good feedback from our testing team, allowing us to have a more accurate & adaptable test environment.In additional, I perform liaison activity with European suppliers & Toyota's European plants, investigating current & future technologies for door, mirror, wiper, etc., as well as frequent reporting to Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan on project status, new product developments, etc.

Engineer in Reliability Development for current & future Toyota Vehicles. (B- to Luxury Segment Vehicles).Responsible for Performance Planning for Future Vehicle, as well as the Target Setting & Design for a new Side Door integrated Component, a new system for the Toyota Group.I performed detailed CAE Analysis (using CATIA V5) for Side Door & Side Door Hinge-side Panel for future Vehicle.For B-segment Vehicles, I planned & conducted Market Study, as well as Evaluation for these Trends, such as the relationship between Vehicle Hood Design & Wiper/Washer system, & the trend for Backdoor Operation.I was responsible for the Evaluation of a new Accelerator, Brake, Clutch Pedal Bracket & by using Toyota Way Principles, could overcome design issues & take the appropriate Countermeasure.
