This may be new connections on building sites or part of WPD'S maintenance programmes.-Assigned to look after capturing information on externally tendered work with values up to £1.2 million. I have surveyed many schemes varying from 11,000 Volts up to 132,000 volts up to distances of 14 Kilometres.-An addition responsibility I hold is to train my colleagues in using GPS equipment.-My current responsibilities include surveying works across Shropshire and Herefordshire. I also look after different areas when covering colleague’s annual leave across the whole contract.

Surveyors provided the measurements and details that were to be added to the drawing. Additional information such as the merchandise on the shelves was also added to the drawing.-worked to a tight deadline that was set by our clients. Clients included many companies within USA including Sears / Kmart, Lowes, Staples USA, Travel Centres of America and Dollar Tree. I also work on drawings for B&Q within the UK.-Gained experience of using Microsoft products such as Excel and Word, and Autodesk AutoCAD 2010.
