Phil Deane has over 20 years experience in business communications skills training. He is the coauthor of several well-respected business communication skill books published in Japan (Asahi Press), and in China (Jon Weng Books Ltd). Over the last 20 years, he has designed and conducted business communication skill seminars for more than 50 clients in many different industries. He has worked with many different nationalities helping them to communicate more effectively in international business environments. His specialised areas include; presentation, negotiation, facilitation, assertive communication and cross-cultural communication skills.He has also successfully developed and published three highly regarded software applications to help non-native speakers learn and apply effective business communication skills and techniques. He is a regular speaker at the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce, and the Project Management Institute Japan (PMIJ), lecturing on cross cultural relations and global business communication.During his ten-year career at Philips Radio Communication Systems, he worked as an engineer, a project coordinator, and as a manufacturing manager. From 1986~88 he attended the Anglia Ruskin University, studying Industrial Management. After graduating in 1988 became a member of the Chartered Management Institute (MCMI).
