Co-founded and co-directed advocacy group for restorative justice in my home community of Arlington, Virginia. Set out to educate the community about the ideals and efficacy of restorative justice. Held weekly meetings and 4 town hall-style panels where experts discussed restorative justice with hundreds of Arlington residents. Edited videos of panels and created short "highlight reels" for wider consumption. Celebrated when the county board accepted the proposed framework for restorative justice in Arlington. Eventually dissolved in January to devote our time instead to the volunteer-needs of the accepted plan.
