A passionate Market Development professional that draws on a broad skill set including education, commercial biotechnology research and regional market development of instrumentation and complex reagents. Lived and worked in Taiwan and London and travelled extensively throughout Asia in a professional capacity.Most recently I have been fortunate to develop and support strategic marketing campaigns that target academic and biotech customers in Asian markets including Japan, Korea, India, Taiwan, Singapore, ANZ and South-East Asia.I have driven the growth of cell analysis instrument and reagent products primarily in flow cytometry and also including plate readers, microscopes and high content analysers.Most notably I have launched several major new products of complex instrumentation and software, involving country level sales and marketing readiness, acquisition of capital equipment, training, quote-to-cash, new hires, pricing and go-to-market strategy. My responsibilities included development of strategic and tactical marketing plans that integrate with global and country level campaigns, driving lead generation using out-bound digital marketing including email, third-party advertising, social platfroms, SEM, webinars, face-to-face events and promotions.As the regional owner of the portfolio I also drove sales enablement training, product and application support, regional forecasting, pricing, market and competitor analyses, sales and marketing strategy development and execution.‘Strategy, Creativity and Collaboration’ is how I’ve been successful in finding new ways to cut through the competitive noise. Positioning products via compelling value-propositions; clear, consistent, targeted messaging that is consistent with brand; and supporting the customers’ needs to foster long-term loyalty.
