Philip Drangula, Mas,Cpm Email and Phone Number
Philip Drangula is a proven leader in the emergency management and emergency services industry serving with multiple state, county, and local municipalities. He currently serves as the Fire Chief with the Cinnaminson Fire Department in Cinnaminson (Burlington County) NJ. The Cinnaminson Fire Department is a combination department consisting of 22 full time unionized firefighter/EMTs, 16 part time EMTs, and 25 volunteer members. In addition to being a career Fire Chief, Philip also holds positions as a career Emergency Medical Technician, Fire & EMS Instructor and Emergency Management Coordinator, which provides a broad base of expertise and understanding of the emergency services. He is a college graduate with an Associates in Fire Science, a Bachelors of Arts in Public Administration, Masters in Administrative Science, a certified Public Manager and a Graduate Certificate in Disaster preparedness. While serving in various leadership roles he was an instrumental component in improving the Cinnaminson Fire Department from an ISO Class 4 to a Class 2 organization. This was due to the implementation of a Learning Management System to better track and distribute training for our various members in the department. This classification increase has realized thousands of dollars saved by our taxpayers and business owners yearly in insurance premiums. In the first year as an officer he led the implementation of a fee schedule to allow for the department to recuperate money that is normally lost when providing services to out of town travelers when involved in motor vehicle accident or other motor vehicle related incident.Furthermore, Philip was the key component to establishing the departments first technical technical rescue team specializing in Confined Space Rescue. This team has expanded its services over the years to provide coverage for five separate municipalities. Most importantly, as one of his proudest accomplishments, he established the Emergency Medical Service division for the Cinnaminson Fire Department. This includes modifying the current BLS Engine response, equipment and training reorganizing it into a transport capable service. This division also includes a newly formed Basic Life Support transport unit which is the departments first. This new division required specific licensing of the agency along with the units for state and federal approvals. This new division required the development of Standard Operating Procedures, new hire orientation and employee reviews.
