I served as vicedean at the Faculty of Engineering Science, KU Leuven (August 2016 - July 2020), responsible for all academic programs at the Faculty (180 professors, >5000 undergraduate and graduate students)Focus on designing and improving the engineering curriculum for bachelor and master students; participating in education policy setting at university level; member of the Education Council of the university; chairing and participating in various working groups w.r.t. future of higher education; accreditation and quality assurance of engineering programs at KULeuven in collaboration with accreditation organizations.Main achievements: reforming the math curriculum in the bachelor program; introduction of 2 new majors in the engineering programs; developing a new vision on exercise & rehearsal sessions; chair of a university-level working group on educational technology; chair of working group on examination policies; guiding the Faculty through the Corona lockdown of 2020.
