I work for brands that are in need of design solutions for their products. With just the right skill set, which I have acquired through rigorous learning processes and practices, I have come to the understanding that there is more to design than mere decorations. Over the years, I have learnt, improved and evolved, having eyesight for good designs and an animated mind for better user experience, using industry-standard approaches.Ever since I was a little kid, I have been fascinated by the way popular brands promoted their products with the use of brand identities - their consistency was professional and remarkable. But I never stopped at being amazed; I understood that to attain such height, I must learn the rudiments. So, I took the first step by applying myself to learn desktop publishing after secondary school. I got retained as one of the staffs in the firm where I enrolled as a student, and while working with the Microsoft office applications, you could tell the uniqueness in my works: it always had an undertone of design. It wasn't surprising to me how I was able to hit it off so easily with graphic design tools. What's more, I could draw so well on paper and I had always wondered how it was possible to do same using a computer. Though they were technical, but according to Tesler's law, Every application has an inherent amount of complexity that cannot be removed or hidden. I had to master the art of using these complex tools, and I always have a good kick out of seeing the result of my efforts.I was still in the university studying pharmacy when I began investing part of my time in learning UI/UX. In addition, I created websites using WordPress, a content management system (CMS).Furthermore, I started seeing life differently, and approaching problems using principles and frameworks, after I concluded a six-week virtual training in Product Management, where I bagged a certificate of completion.You can contact me by email: phelipemelo7@gmail.com
