Over 30 years’ experience within Upstream Oil and Gas and Clean Energy sectors both in the UK and internationally. Proven and diverse key skill set within leadership, commercial management, risk management and increasing sales performance within a diversified energy portfolio business. My expansive experience has included Senior Leadership roles, Project Management, Business Development, Technical Development, Operational Management, Contract and Risk Assessment, Commercial Management and Consultancy roles. I am extremely adaptable, have a proven capability and demonstrate the highest levels of service and commitment at all times.My previous role was as Director of Consulting (based in Aberdeen) within LR Energy, overseeing Asset Integrity, Risk Management, Power Engineering and Upstream consultancy services globally; leading a large team in over 20 countries. More recently, I have taken on an Commercial role within LR Energy to drive improved commercial performance and have been instrumental in shaping the commercial support structure, establishing appropriate processes, as well as overseeing external commercial activities (tendering and contract support). The key to improve the interface between the support teams to improve business performance by centralising and providing a holistic functional team. In addition I have driven commercial awareness and project control through the organisation, as well as establishing strong CRM practices (Salesforce) and introducing sales cadence to improve effectiveness.During the past six years I have taken on increased responsibility from leading a small team of 40 supporting survey and geoengineering globally (site investigations), to a wider EMT leadership role within LR providing energy services on a global footing over a wide client base. Prior to this I was Commercial Manager for a survey and shipping company in Norfolk (Gardline). Over this time I have developed strong business acumen, effective communication and developed maturity in my leadership style. I particularly enjoy developing team capabilities, individual mentoring and maximising effectiveness.
