- Review contracts to verify that claim information submitted by ceding companies comply with the terms and conditions of applicable treaties. Update terms in system as appropriate.- Coordinate with ceding companies with respect to submission of reinsurance reporting.- Process claims within established time frames. Provided timely and informative reinsurance loss notification, status updates and responses to issues raised. Provided billing statements that outlined how the reinsurance terms applied to the factual circumstances of each claim. Facilitated reinsurance audits. Prepared and presented education and training programs for direct claim departments to strengthen relationship between ceded reinsurance department and the direct claim specialists.
