31 years of professional IT experience, starting as a programmer analyst I've moved on through support and projects to consultancy. With experience in the oil & gas, transport, BPO and call centre industries as well as IT I've been providing support to hundreds of SMB/SME companies throughout the UK for the last 14 years. Responsible for the service desk, NOC and technology alignment functions my role now consists of developing standards and aligning clients to IT best practices. Helping them with processes, infrastructure and security frameworks and ensuring Shackleton’s IT support adheres to these same high standards. I enjoy taking our clients on a journey from where they are now to where they need to be. Prioritising the most important things to keep them safe and secure but handling it in a realistic manner and building a roadmap that suits their budget. Bringing them from dated IT environments and into the modern workplace.
