Student at Naval Nuclear Power Training Center, consisting of 6 months of rigorous classroom education in nuclear theory, reactor dynamics, chemistry, and electrical engineering. Followed by an additional 6 months at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Unit, consisting of hands on application of classroom learning running a nuclear power plant as the senior supervisor. Ultimately resulted in qualification as Engineering Officer of the Watch.

ARx develops and produces thin film active products for novel drug delivery via oral or transdermal applications. My duties with ARx included:2008* Led team developing, installing and validating inline X-Ray gauging system to analyze real time product quality. Coordinated efforts with vendor to provide software and hardware upgrades for new manufacturing process systems.* Completed statistical analysis on production data and presented findings to develop manufacturing process optimizations.2009* Conducted IQ, OQ, and PQ for various instruments and processes following cGMP guidelines. * Analyzed data from developmental trials to transfer products from the lab to a manufacturing scale. I often presented these results to management and clients during this process.2010* Worked with senior engineering staff to design experiments for the development of novel drug release vectors.* Researched, designed, and completed cleaning methods and safety procedures for pharmaceutical components to increase product quality following FDA requirements and decrease process down time for cleaning.
