Recent work has focused on development of provincial climate change strategies, GHG mitigation policy for state owned enterprises in developing countries, the green economy and just transition in Canada and internationally, energy policy (including stakeholder engagement), and the engagement of the private sector in international climate negotiations. In 2015 Philip took over as the Lead for the IISD Global Subsidies Initiative (GSI) Indonesia Programme, with a focus on subsidy reform and renewable energy development in that country. Philip is also the lead for GSI work in Canada, focused on reform of energy production subsidies. Regularly managing annual revenues in excess of $300,000 - $400,000 USD per year, with strong fundraising and public speaking experience as well as knowledge of business development software (Salesforce).
