Theoretical physicist, interests in particle and nuclear physics. Thesis: “Local Nucleon-Nucleon Potentials Based upon Chiral Effective Field Theory”Chiral Effective Field theory is applied to construct a nucleon-nucleon potential in position space. It produces a relatively simple form and achieves accuracies superior to that of other methods. Theoretical predictions are compared to experimental values of nucleon-nucleon scattering; developed software for computational nuclear physics; adjusted potentials to best match experimental data.Independent Research: Imaginary Number Bases (see media below). Overview of both positive and negative bases; expands upon previous research to permit any purely imaginary number to be used as a base.
