I have just over 2 years of solid experience and diverse capabilities in project management within the private and government sectors.During my time working as a Project Manager at Time 24 LTD, I was solely managing clients such as Oxford instruments plasma and nano technologies as well as Colt international. The combined yearly sales of the clients I managed was over £2.5 million. I was charged with the responsibility of helping oversee a range of critical projects from bidding to delivery. I was also constantly achieving deals with suppliers to keep costs low for the customers and to improve our margin. I saved over £150,000 in just over a year for my projects by implementing engineering changes, such as the way the system was built as well as negotiating with suppliers or moving suppliers to achieve this cost saving.I was commended by the director for demonstrating strong skills in: proactively managing important and time-sensitive projects; developing innovative solutions to critical problems; balancing stakeholder expectations with those of the company; and working collaboratively with other team members to establish an efficient and effective systems of operation. In my time at L3Harris, Time 24 and the NSW Government, I was noted for having achieved the following:•Winning contracts by costing every element of the parts, build and margin and sending a quote.•Designing bespoke parts using CAD in order to keep costs down and keep to deadlines.•Strong understanding of statistics, quality improvement techniques such as FMEA.•Successfully contributing to QA testing, product build procedure and user documentations.•Making Gantt charts for all my projects in order to keep to deadlines and keep track of any changes that have occurred throughout the project. Furthermore, I have strong academic background to ground my work. After completing my Bachelor of Engineering mechanical (Honours) at the University of Brighton in 2017, I went on to score a 2:1. Recently I have completed an MSc in Materials Research and scored a distinction. My project went on to win two awards, the James S Walker Prize (IOM3) and the Armourers and Braziers award which I was the winner.I also have experience in using laboratory equipment that include: Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) and Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC).
