Over the four year scheme I developed various skills in mechanical assemblies and computer aided engineering.During my first three years at Siemens I assembled and rigorously tested subsea connectors for the Oil & Gas industry. I worked in many different departments of production such as;- Low voltage and signaling.- Instrumentation.- Top side connectors.- High voltage power supply.After progressing onto my HNC I became a trainee draughts person for my final year placement in a technical delivery team. During this placement I broadened my knowledge of mechanical engineering and subsea environments. Here I developed skills in engineering functions, processes and programs such as, Autodesk, AutoCAD and Teamcenter.
