Design and lead the property and development programmes and investments necessary for Council and community to achieve our aspirations for housing in Taupō District, including asset management, property acquisition and disposal, and facilities operation.

My role encompasses navigational safety, regulatory patrol, education and enforcement of boating activities. I am also responsible for the effective management numerous Crown owned facilities and reserves including 17 public boat launching facilities, numerous jetties, 180 swing moorings and 300 berths in 4 marinas. In 2009 I began consulting with Iwi, key stakeholders and the community to redevelop the Motuoapa Marina on the eastern shores of Lake Taupo.
