I am a Company Director of Sapern HR Ltd which was established to provide an affordable and comprehensive range of human resource services to small and medium sized businesses either through a consultancy based service or an outsourced approach.

I am responsible for providing the strategic direction and leadership of the LMC, in particular providing support and advice to GP Practices throughout the BNSSG area. I have responsibility for the financial management and sustainability of the LMC and for the development and implementation of business opportunities.

I was responsible for the strategic and operational development of the Meningitis Trust and the achievement of its Business Plan including its fundraising targets. I developed services to meet the needs of those affected by meningitis and ensured compliance with company and charity legislation as well as ensuring that the charity met its charitable objects .

I was responsible for the strategic development and management of the Trust's operational and client services, ensuring that they met identified needs and achieved quality standards. I was responsible for the strategic development of the Trust's medical research programme and Deputy to the Chief Executive

I was responsible for managing the FHSA's statutory and core business, ensuring that the FHSA's statutory functions were transferred to the new health authorities following the NHS reorganisation. I had responsibility for 130 staff and budgets in excess of £170m.

My responsibilities included setting the strategic and operational objectives and directing policy implementation for the FHSA. I managed a diverse range of functions including human resources, facilities, Information Technology , the contracts for the 4 independent contractor groups including GPs, dentists, community pharmacists and opticians within the Surrey area. I managed 7 senior managers and had overall responsibility for 100 staff.
