Concrete Division designs, sells & maintains Field Erected Concrete Evaporate Water Cooling Towers of the Tower Tech design in the USA and Internationally. Each design is site specific, requiring site visits while towers are constructed, working with the engineers and construction managers.Service & support of existing towers includes inspections of the towers, replacement parts, operator & service training along with responding to issues that may be experienced. Advisement & Training for independent contractors also provided.In 2014-2015, I was responsible for re-engineered the tower design working closely with an independent engineer. We changing the design from a precast wall design to a "Cast-in-place" design to eliminate historical issues of water leaking from the joints of the precast towers. As part of this design re-engineering, the integrated water distribution within the structural beams at the top of the tower into independent piping that is supported by the concrete beams to allows for access to the distribution piping for maintenance/upgrading, addressing owner complaints.As a 6 Sigma Green Belt, I am continuously analyzing issues, parts, and design for continuous improvement.
