In charge of the social compliance program in mainland China covering suppliers of Handbag, footwear, ready to wear, jewelry, hardware, watch, etc. Detailed work includes below.1. Provide training to the suppliers to make sure they understand the brand’s requirements and industry standards2.Conduct audit to evaluate if the suppliers can meet the brand’s minimum requirements3.Follow up the corrective actions plans from suppliers to make sure they take adequate corrective actions4. Penalize the suppliers that cannot make improvement to meet the requirements and have serious violations5.Periodic report to Hong Kong office and US head quarter Liaise with the internal and external stakeholders regarding social compliance issues. Eg. The sourcing, quality and material team to push the suppliers for improvement. Collaborate with other brands to push suppliers to take actionsDesign, upgrade and maintain the social compliance related programs as per demands. Eg. The “Brand Protection Program” to protect the intellectual property, “Self-Assessment Program” to enhance the suppliers’ ability on social compliance program Communicate with 3rd party audit firms on placing audits and follow up with relevant issues.Wok with NGO on social compliance related programsHandling employees’ complains.

Conducted about 800 audits for brands including but not limited to Ann Taylor, AEO, BeBe, Costco, CTC, Egmont, Kik, Lidl, MMG, Office Deopt, Quiksliver; covering major areas in mainland China and also conducted audits abroad occasionally. Covering industries like garment, electronic, toy, furniture, food and etc. Conduct security audit for Office Deopt, AEO, MMG and finish C-TPAT for Costco. Be the mentor of the new auditors and conduct evaluation on the junior auditors.
