Managed team of up to eight in busy retail environment (sales ~$130k p/w) while working over 55hrs per week. Individually managed stock, layout and visual merchandising of BWS department (~$30k p/w). Consistently improved sales over previous year’s figures and achieved ‘Best in Melbourne’ status after Head Office visitation. Developed excellent team management, problem-solving and people skills while utilising my organised and resourceful work ethic to improve the store in all areas. Presenting to prospective students on visit days and representing those departments at information sessions and lectures. This panel discusses the courses and options for a select group of current and former students who have engaged thoroughly in their degrees. Copywriting and copyediting for quarterly student magazine. Frequent articles on university sports, student enterprise, local food and events. Also conducted interviews, proofread and helped synthesise articles into one publication. Improved grammatical, creative and design skills while developing an acute attention to detail.

Private employment by CEO of an electrical company to investigate media portrayal and reports of an ongoing legal battle between the company and the State in the 1970s. Personally handled all material and merged it into one document used for the production of a company history book. Developed excellent research, editing and communication skills at a young age.
