I have previously taught as a Faculty Associate, Lecturer, and now Clinical Professor. I have taught courses at every level, from 1st Year Undergraduate to 6th Year Graduate. Most of my teaching has focused around Architecture Studios (including students from Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Interior Design, and Construction Management). I have also taught Lecture and Lab courses on Architectural Construction, Passive Systems Design, and Computer Drawing and Representation.I was the Architecture Faculty Advisor to Team ASUNM for the 2013 Solar Decathlon in Irvine, California hosted by the US Department of Energy and the National Renewable Energies Laboratory. Critical tasks during this two-year teaching experience included: team-building and coordination, design deliverables, fund-raising and resource procurement, fabrication, assembly, installation, and public outreach.

Served in several roles in The Design School, including: Assistant Director of Strategic Initiatives (AY 22/23), Associate Director of External Relations (AY 18/19-20/21), Assistant Director Undergraduate Studies (AY 17/18), and as Assistant Director for Strategic Communications for The Design School (AY 15/16-16/17).

Arizona State University’s deep commitment to sustainability teaching, research and application is simulated and supported by the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Institute of Sustainability.To support collaborative networking of the community of scientists and scholars who conduct work on sustainability topics, the President and former Provost of ASU created a specific appointment within the ASU Wrigley Institute for ASU faculty and research staff who are substantively involved in sustainability teaching and research.

This role included responsibilities for both the Graduate, 2 and 3-year Master of Architecture degree programs, as well as the 4-year Undergraduate BSD in Architectural Studies. This role was previously titled Program Coordinator.

Building is a verb. In CoBI we are bringing together stakeholders from 4 different colleges within the university, along with a growing number of community, civic, institutional, and industry partners, to leverage the 3 enterprises of ASU toward transformation for the future of the building environment. CoBI is a joint-center, housed in the Global Futures Laboratory, and The Design School at ASU.

Linking my role within Architecture and The Design School with the foresight and transformational efforts of ASU's Global Futures Laboratory.

ProPEL is a growing library of educational video resources covering foundational and emerging topics in architecture. Developed in partnership between ACSA and NCARB, the goal of ProPEL is to expand teaching resources to help better equip students for the future of architectural practice.The primary responsibility of the Editorial Board is to provide intellectual leadership for the library by planning, commissioning, and reviewing content. ProPEL content is available to all ACSA members, comprising more than 7,000 architecture faculty in the U.S. and Canada teaching to more than 40,000 students. Content is also available to NCARB members as a resource for continuing education and professional development.

The Urban Climate Research Center (UCRC), housed in the School of Geographical Sciences & Urban Planning at ASU, employs a collaborative social/physical science framework to address critical issues in the urban atmospheric environment.
