This initiative is a collaborative effort involving the University’s Human Resources Division, AFSCME, USA/MTA, and PSU/MTA. My primary focus is supporting the Culinary Career Ladder Program, which is dedicated to the recruitment and retention of ESOL (English Speakers of Other Languages) employees in the culinary sector. Our program partners with the University of Massachusetts, Smith College, Westfield Public College, and Lawrence Public Schools to improve the work experience and retention of culinary workers across the region.

As a Graduate Assistant at the University of Massachusetts, I contribute to the Partnership for Worker Education program, a collaboration among the university's Human Resources Division, AFSCME, USA/MTA, and PSU/MTA. I support the Culinary Career Ladder Program, which enhances the recruitment and retention of ESOL employees in the culinary field. The University of Massachusetts Partnership for Worker Education program is a joint educational partnership among the University (Division of Human Resources), AFSCME, USA/MTA, and PSU/MTA. PWE has developed three career ladder projects on campus, all involving AFSCME employees: the ResLife Career Ladder Project; the Auxiliary Enterprises project; and the Facilities & Campus Services project. Each effort works towards organizational change through a three-way partnership among the campus unit (including directors, managers, and supervisors), AFSCMELocal 1776, and PWE.

The Pioneer Ambassador Legion is a distinguished community of individuals who share a passion for the Pioneer brand, creativity, leadership, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. As a brand ambassador, members like me of this elite legion will play a pivotal role in representing Pioneer and contributing to its growth.
