I have 20+ years experience advising both Irish domestic and international clients on VAT and Indirect tax issues across a range of industries including financial services, medical and healthcare, real estate, software and technology and indigenous Irish business.I have significant experience in advising on:• The VAT treatment of transactions, such as property, M&A transactions and cross border supplies;• Changes in VAT legislation, Revenue policy and evolving Irish and EU case law;• The completion of VAT reviews;• Providing support to clients in relation to VAT compliance and Revenue audits; • The management and co-ordination of pan-European and global VAT compliance and advisory projects;• VAT compliance process and control reviews; and,• Provision of bespoke VAT training for the management of VAT.I am a Masters graduate of DCU, a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and a Chartered Tax Advisor.
