I am currently working with Majestic Seafood Corporation here in Lae as a Safety Officer.Working with Majestic Seafood corporation, one of the major player of the tuna industry in pacific, committed in supporting a sustainable tuna for the manufacture of highest quality products for distribution and promotion of healthy food all over the world.I have previoursly (in 1993 to 2012) worked as a warehouse storeman with Poon Catering & Eurest Catering at (Kutubu, Gobe & Hides)Kutubu Petroleum Project in the southern highlands province for the past 13 yearsApparently, I was engaged as a Safety Officer in 2006 with Eurest Catering Ltd, Kutubu Transport and Trans Wonderland Ltd at Kutubu Petroleum Project operated by Chevron Niugini and Oil Search (PNG) Ltd. My duties and responsibilities were more centered in Safety such as leading with Operations for Safe achievements of the operations and developing and implementing effective Safety and for lines supervisor and their members, providing and implementing effective safety and operational management system (i.e. inspect and provide reports and task/duties in compliance to safe operating procedures, ect..) and providing safety presentation to employees regarding any safety issues, policies and regulations as per the company or government requirements.Thus, it is with this intention that I am prepared to render my service since Chevron Niugini and Oil Search (PNG) Ltd being one of the best petroleum producing companies with its training emphasis in Safety.I am willing to impact this knowledge and skills and further boost or empower employees to maintain a Safe Culture at the work place.

• Qualified Safety Officer with 6 years of experience working in Oil & Gas construction site safety. I have had responsibility for all aspects of site safety at various types of construction site including demolition of oil industry process plant and construction of temporary accommodation units. Carry out risk assessments and modify procedures as necessary. Competent and experienced at managing high risk construction site activities e.g. welding, confined space entry, scaffold erection and fleet (heavy and light truck, forklifts, excavator, wheel loader and crane) operations.• Promote safety awareness among workers and conduct regular safety meetings, e.g. toolbox talks, safety circles.• Prepare reports on accident statistics. These are issued monthly to Oil Search Ltd .• Investigate incidents and high potential near misses • Inspect lifting and fire fighting equipment
