I map out processes (think of it as industrial design for workflows) to pinpoint where automation makes the most sense. It’s all about making work smarter and the road to scaling clearer!!!The really cool aspect is that I've experienced them from the customer side in my work at #Image Building, where they've automated the core processes behind the operation around the Trotter and their other products. This means I now have a 360 degree perspective of product design and its implementation in a company and how to keep maintain focus on getting the #customer experience from sketch to reality.

As Innovation and Implementation Lead a custom ERP system has been developed for Image Building and was implemented just before the advent of the Corona pandemic. As such, a lot of difficulties were encountered with users not being able to rely as easily on help from colleagues sitting close by, due to their now working from home. This implementation has been supported and guided, inclusive of various dynamics.Innovative Concept Development: I have proven record of creating groundbreaking concepts is particularly relevant. My experience across different sectors, including Dutch elections, automotive production and software development signifies my ability to explore new design opportunities. By applying my academic and practical insights, I can spearhead the development of innovative concept designs that will position Image Building as a market leader.

Image Building wanted to start digital printing on XXL format. At this time, that however was nog yet a developed area. As such I was responsible for the knowledge and processes related to the digital printing process, inclusive of colour management.

I prepare workshops, live drawing sessions next to my partners.I write articles.The knowledge is an instrumental in enhancing team collaboration with visual storytelling is possible. My work with diverse cultural settings, reflecting my experiences in Mexico and The Netherlands, help in nurturing a creative and inclusive environment. This skill set is crucial for bringing out the best in the design team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality design solutions in a visual way through strategic drawing.

With over 20 years of industrial design experience and holding patents, my capacity for strategic design innovation is evident. I have a wide-ranging expertise across sectors like automotive production enriches my ability to uncover and exploit new design opportunities on an international scale. My expertise in visualization and concept development skills are crucial for leading innovative projects that align with strategic goals.I have proven record in innovative concept development which is notable, demonstrating my ability to pioneer designs that set industry standards. Utilizing both academic knowledge and practical experience, I drive concept designs that can distinguish me as a leader in the design field.With my proficiency in Belbin’s Team Roles and my experience working in diverse cultural environments, such as Mexico and The Netherlands, enable me to foster effective team collaboration, I’ve directed teams up to 60 persons with mastery.Lastly, my knowledge and expertise in innovation processes empower me to enhance team efficiency. By developing and implementing new methods, I can lead continuous improvement efforts, ensuring competitiveness and innovation in the global market.

Full time academic. Currently specialized in innovation matters. Examples of projects include: liaison in the co-development between the University and VW of an exo-skeleton for application in VW's Mexican Plant, future vision development for the Dutch Retail Industry, Industrial Drone air cleaners.

This firm consults for clients such as Audi, Volkswagen, Sumitomo, Wobi, Nissan, amongst others. In this consulting, I have been responsible for creative design consulting, such as projects about design thinking, ViP (Vision in Product Design) strategy definition, Customer Journey Maps, etc.

Graduation project, titled: "System design for food distribution to the independently living elderly".TNO industry was working on a project in which they were applying a new approach based on designing the entire system around a need. In this project the need was defined as food distribution to the independently living elderly. The problem to be solved was that independently living elderly do not or limitedly have access to freshly prepared, good nutrition. As a solution to this i developed three scenarios, in which this access was provided, the system approach providing the added value of providing fresh meals to other groups as well.

As an intern, I was responsible for various projects. Amongst others, a colour guide for popular colours and the technical setup for a bike that was to measure the quality of the cycling roads.
