Provide ecological services for clients ranging from small residential developments to large commercial and infrastructure projects throughout the UK.Main duties include: - undertaking protected species surveys (bats, badgers, breeding birds, great crested newt, water vole, otter) - Phase 1 and UKhabs vegetation surveys - NVC surveys - outlining appropriate mitigation and compensation - conduct BNG assessments and prepare biodiversity enhancement plans - client meetings and project management - Provide a range of ECoW duties

My main duties were to carry out Preliminary Roost Assessments and barn owl surveys and prepare reports for planning applications.I conducted numerous night-time bat activity surveys and GCN bottle trapping.I carried out various Phase 1 habitat surveys and provided ECoW for vegetation removal and roof strips.I assisted the Principal Ecologist with NVC surveys.

I worked as a sub-contractor for various consultancies preparing reports and undertaking a variety of surveys including:- preliminary roost assessments,- night-time bat activity surveys,- GCN bottle trapping,- nesting birds surveys,- badger surveys,- peat probing

I completed my NVQ level 2 in carpentry and joinery and worked as a joiner for 2 year before starting university. I continued to undertake joinery works on a self-employed basis whilst at university, and still continue to use my skills whether working on my own house or for friends and family.
