    This contract ran from 13th May until 9th August 2013 and was a 3-month contract to help Jessops.com regain its sales, profitability and market share. As well as my old content management role I took responsibility for the profitability of online bundle deals and headline sales & traffic reporting to the head of e-Commerce. Since the purchase of the Company by Peter Jones's Phones International Group, Jessops has gone from strength to strength and by August the store network was around 30-strong, with online sales for Home Delivery once again starting to resemble their previous market share.

    I recently worked for RM Education in their Dudley office as a Web Contracts Manager. This position was temporary cover until 10th May 2013. RM is one of the UK's leading providers of IT hardware and software for the education sector. This was an involved and varied role and includes the overseeing of Management Information Systems (MIS, the mainframe systems) for schools in the Dudley Metropolitan area. This includes districts such as Dudley, Halesowen and Stourbridge.The role was a stimulating and varied one which broadened my skill set to include aspects of project management, communication strategy planning and change management, During my time with RM I had been responsible for procurement of new MIS contracts for several secondary schools and worked on the migration of email accounts in two local authority areas. The effective management of web based services is vital for today's connected generation of schools and communication with the Local Authority at high level meetings has ensured our SLA has been met and the Local Authority complies with statutory requirements, My role has also included attendance at high level meetings and presentation of reports to representatives from the Local Authority.     I had worked for the Jessop Group for 14 years since 13th November 1998. As would be expected I gained considerable experience in a retail environment during this time. Most recently I have been Web Content Coordinator for Jessops.com and played a part in its transformation from a single-digit percentage of company business to over 40% participation in 2012. Specifically I have dealt with online imaging and copy as well as cross-selling and formulating margin-enriching bundle deals which have been adopted within both the wider company and have influenced the behaviour of our competitors.The management of this type of online content requires a good knowledge of html mark-up and Photoshop as well as a sound understanding of SEO and the ability to embed video content. Project-wise I also played a large role in realising the Fredhopper site navigation tool’s introduction to Jessops.com. This involved re-mapping product attributes and re-categorisation of the website. Working in the e-Commerce Team I was part of a dynamic group and interacted on a daily basis with both our Web Development Team and customers via our Customer Service Team.Collective online achievements include the introduction of multichannel retail, for example the flagship Collect@Store service and mobile shopping. This role has also honed my skills in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and analytics packages such as IBM CoreMetrics.
