With over six years of experience in politics and government, I have developed skills in legislative strategy, government relations, communication, and relationship building. I work closely with US and foreign government agencies, foreign military leaders, and senior executive leaders to achieve results and advance the interests of our constituents and the nation.I have an extensive background in program management, process improvement, and operational and organizational leadership positions. I really enjoy my job when I am working in a complex and highly adaptive environment with ever changing constraints, am responsible for building relationships outside of the organization, and am building and leading a highly capable team. I excel most at turning a vision in to actionable and measurable steps and find that I am often able to navigate complex regulatory, political, or procedural hurdles with ease. I am a passionate communicator, able to articulate purpose and direction to inspire my team to achieve outstanding results. A continuous learner, I am an avid reader and believe in the power of self-reflection and self-improvement. I have worked closely with US and foreign government agencies, foreign military leaders, and leaders at the most senior executive level and know that I am able to achieve results and be a valued member of any team.
