I am a Dynamic and Motivated Professional with over 37yrs experience within the Aerospace Industry (Shorts/Bombardier) of which the last 22yrs as a manager, 12yrs in an operational role and the last 10yrs in a continuous improvement leader role. I have personally benefited from achieving my Henley Post Graduate in ‘Management’ together with numerous managerial courses including Leadership Engagement Forums (LEF), Coaching and Ethics & Compliance etc.Having journeyed through an operations background and pertaining a position of Operational Manager I have managed numerous areas including Final Assembly, Machine Shop, Systems, Treatments, Paint Shops, Auto Cell whilst creating a safe and rewarding environment. This has provided a wealth of experience which supports my current role as Lean Master Change Agent - Continuous Improvement Manger. I have always striven to lead change within my organisation and have encouraged and established the use of best practices while developing leading and motivating teams in line with company core values, leadership behaviors and Performance Management Systems (Achieving Excellence System - AES).I have led multi-functional teams to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across a balanced scorecard of Health & Safety, Quality, Productivity, People Development, Cash & Cost, and Performance , whilst at the same time building on a team atmosphere. I embrace the need for change and the Philosophy of continuous improvement. I have the ability to draw on my experience when placed in an ambiguous situations and ensure quality tools and techniques are applied in operations to establish robust processes that enable management and support services personnel to focus their efforts on the elimination of waste and non-value added activities in the shortest possible time frame.I communicate effectively with all levels of staff, personally, professionally, individually and within a team. Having gained knowledge and skills over the years as a manager I have acquired the required skills to influence others. The uniqueness of my role involves me leading /coaching business improvement and drive for results.I believe strongly on team work and would lead by example as I know that by working as "One Team" results shall be achieved and milestones met. I believe I have earned credibility to deliver upon each team’s expectations, by coordinating and driving functional and operational site transformation activities through a combined top-down, bottom-up approach.
