What is important to me is balancing work that I am passionate about with the financial freedom to keep going and provide a service. My enthusiasm for modern design furniture energised me to travel extensively throughout Europe for 20 years often leaving home at 4am. Visiting dealers warehouses and antique markets never felt like work, it was exciting and inspiring. I have had two businesses, a gallery and an auction house, which gave me the chance to work on my own terms with a client base of designers, architects and collectors. It wasn't always easy, but an authentic approach to what I was doing stimulated the passion and motivation to succeed.Coaching and positive psychology is my new passion, particularly human potential. I enjoy working with people who are looking to challenge themselves and others who are looking for a simpler way of life. Coaching is non-directive and is guided by the clients desires. Each person is their own best expert and coaching offers timeout to gain perspective and make decisions to be at your best.I have always enjoyed working with people and this made coaching an obvious choice for me. I am trained to Masters level and have taken numerous additional courses, including residential courses at the Esalen Human Potential Institute in California. I am currently enrolled in an Inner MBA program developed by New York University, Linkedin, Sounds True and Wisdom 2.0. The focus is socially conscious business as well as personal and professional development.
