Phil Valencia is a cofounder and CEO of Embeint - a startup on a mission to usher in a new era of Intelligent Ambient IoT by helping companies create ultra-low power IoT solutions and unlock the massive market opportunity ahead. Phil has a PhD on evolving code for IoT devices, a dual degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering and Information Technology, and 23 years of research and engineering experience in the CSIRO (Data61) Australia. He applied his expertise in creating intelligent solutions for power-constrained embedded devices for creating numerous solutions for real-time tracking, physiological and behavioural sensing and classification, and automated regulation technology. During this time he has also authored multiple patents and publications relevant to smart, ultra-low power wireless solutions. Phil is passionate about creating innovative and impactful solutions that enhance the quality of life and the environments we live and work in.
