Helmsdale Homes was established in 2008 to pursue future residential development opportunities. This has proved very difficult whilst the industry remains handcuffed, in particular by the availability of development funding. Whilst remaining focused within this area I am also looking to promote the company / my experience down an alternative route offering a design, technical, commercial and project management support service to homeowners, builders, housebuilders / developers and industry sub-contractors.After being in the house building industry now for some 30years, 20 years of which as a Director with some of Britain’s larger house builders. I have gained experience in all areas of the industry from land identification to viability, purchase, appoint subcontractors, build, value, sell to completion of developments and including the preparation of all associated management papers for board reports. However my main expertise and experience comes from the Commercial / Technical side of the business.My experience covers from low rise to high rise, developments of 9 units to developments of 1500 units, from urban regeneration to executive estate.

Originally responsible for the land, commercial and technical are of the business but latterly covering all areas of this regional company.

Responsible for the Surveying, Architectural, Engineering and Buying rolls within the business

Originally responsible for surveying and buying area of the business but went on to include Architectural and Engineering. I also took responsibility for the satelite accounts department.

Responsible for all quantity survaying duties on circa 12- 15 sites
