I have 17+ years experience working as a nonprofit executive director and have served on the boards of directors for several local and national nonprofit organizations. In that time I have successfully managed a year-round staff of 10 or more and a seasonal staff of more than 60. I have been responsible for raising and managing over $20 million in funding from a variety of income sources including grants, individual donations, corporate gifts, and earned income. And I have led and managed a complete board development process for three different nonprofit organizations. As a facilitator, I have significant experience leading discussions around diversity, equity, and inclusion, and workplace culture for hundreds of individuals at a fortune 100 company. Equally at home in front of large groups for training, facilitating small group discussions, in a 1:1 coaching setting, or managing a diverse staff team, I am passionate about empowering leaders for success. As the former executive director of a faith-based nonprofit, I also understand the nuances and challenges that come with navigating relationships across various sectors while staying true to the values of a faith-based organization. My skills include Nonprofit Management, Public Speaking, Program Evaluation, Grant Writing, Project Management, Fundraising and Board Development. I also have experience in Construction Management, Staff Recruitment and Development, and Volunteer Management. I hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Music from University of Mississippi (suma cum laude) and a Master's of Public Service degree from the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service.
