Global Demo Engineering - Collaboration (dCloud platform and Demo toolbox)I provided Customers, Partners and Cisco Employees with a way to experience Cisco Solutions in several ways including on the dCloud Platform and the Webex Demo Toolbox.I’m responsible for the development, planning, design & coordinating of a wide range of Collaboration demonstrations & labs for internal and external audience. I lead the development process from start to finish. I maintain and foster relationships with key partners and develop ecosystem of 3rd party developers that provided a relevant pipeline of demonstration & training content.• I provide technical support to level 1 & 2 support engineers, program managers ensuring that demonstrations are in working order.Test and replicate support issues as required and make recommendation to on-site staff to negate future disruption. Track and log effectively.• Documentation: Experience in providing detailed demonstration/lab guides.• Heavy hands-on experience with the entire Cisco Collaboration portfolio, including but not limited to: o Cisco Unified Communication Manager o Cisco Unified IM and Presence Server o Cisco Unity Connection o Cisco Meeting Server and Cisco Meeting Manager o Cisco Expressway o Webex Suite o Hybrid Services• Understanding of scripting skills: Python, PowerShell, XML, Visual Studio, Postman and GitHub.• Understanding and integrating with 3rd party collaboration solutions such as Zoom, Microsoft, Google, Facebook – Workspace, Moodle, Kollective, vBrick, VQCM

I was responsible for introducing and promoting the adoption of the new virtual platform for demos (dCloud) which Cisco offers to sellers (Cisco and Partners) and customers, to acquire knowledge about Cisco Solutions. I was a system engineer supporting the BDM team providing technical expertise at educational events, ad-hoc business meetings and participation to major Cisco Events globally, to grow this business approach.

I was part of the technical team running the Cisco European Briefing Centres (London), where we showcased the most advanced solutions and received Customers for Enablement and Sales events.• Planning & delivering demonstrations of Cisco architectures, solutions, and products to visitors to the Bedfont executive briefing centre.• Building new demonstration environment including the popular Connected Building demo.

Remote Technical Briefing Centres:Providing pre-sales technical briefing and consulting services to Global customers in Service Provider, Collaboration, Enterprise and Data Centre technologies.This was a diverse role calling for:• Hands-on technical skills in networking design, architecture, implementation and troubleshooting for service provider, collaboration and enterprise and data-centre IP routing and switching.• Project planning for complete deployment lifecycle of over 80 Customer Demonstration Centres worldwide, including all procurement and logistic activities. This involved complex cross-functional liaison with sales, marketing and logistic organisations resulting in delivery on budget and according to schedule.• Attended on-site to deploy new location and provided training sessions to local sales teams.• Provided remote technical support to deployed locations.• Planned and scheduled regular upgrades and training to local sales teams.• Customer-facing presentation and engagement skills.
