Inspecting electrical equipment on a military camp, reporting deficiencies and testing of electrical circuits. Ensuring quality assurance of all work scopes are maintained, and all work is performed in accordance with company policies and the Health and Safety at work act.Completing all activities in a timely accurate and efficient manner in accordance with procedures and work instructions.

Carrying out Inspections on all on site equipment and instrumentation.Creating and filing reports on each piece of equipment on the plant including inspection and testing. Supporting in all elements of health, safety, security and environmental aspect for the organisation.

Working in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry. Tata Steel Port Talbot steel works. Maintenance on E&I on plant, inspection and testing. Adopting and maintaining HSE and housekeeping policies and procedures in all work areas. Performing weekly toolbox talks highlighting and discussing potential hazards for the week ahead. Providing recommendations for improvement to client standard installation details for items of electrical equipment.Providing general guidance to junior craft on all construction and subcontractor work to assure a safe and efficient installation.Field supervision of electrical apprentices and electricians and integrating with other site disciplines to ensure a first-time right installation and minimal re- works. Coordinating external and internal service providers. Assisting with other engineering work when and where required as directed by the electrical project engineer. Completing worksheets for works undertaken and obtain authorisation from the clients representative. Ensuring that correct documentation was produced for testing and commissioning and assembling of handover packages for completed projects.

Working on several maintenance projects throughout the UK. Ensuring maximum utilisation of all electrical equipment and plant in a safe and efficient manner. Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment as required. Identifying and reporting any signs of equipment failure. Repairing of all electrical breakdowns throughout the plant. Fault finding, diagnosing problems on complex machinery and finding solutions through liaising with vendors. Installing and commissioning equipment as requested. Providing clarification on any client queries. Installing cable tray, basket, ladder rack, glanding and termination of LV multicore cables. up to 240sq.mm, installation of electrical equipment such as light fittings, street lighting poles, power outlets, cable containment supports, telecom and data points, F&G detectors, CCTV camera’s, LV DB’s, LV switchgear / MCC’s, lightning protection systems, earthing grids & electrodes, comms cabling (patch cords & fibre optic cabling) and FOW.
