*Certified Passivhaus Designer*Certified Retrofit Designer*Fellowship of the Higher Education AcademyI have been fortunate to work in a variety of sectors, including the Residential, Civic, Leisure, Education, Commercial, Transport & Voluntary sectors.My ethos has always lied in collaborating with good people to create elegant and well detailed spaces for our community. I have been fortunate to design and deliver some great projects throughout my journey as an Architect. The highlights have been working on the design and delivery of Paddington station, where we collaborated with the extended Crossrail team to deliver a technically challenging project with a complex programme and many ‘contractual obstacles.’ My other highlight has been the YMCA community village in Newark, which involved collaborating with multiple end user stakeholders to provide a space that has truly enhanced the local community.My recent focus has been to skill up on sustainable knowledge as all designers should be doing in order to tackle the RIBA 2030 climate challenge. I am a Certified Passivhaus Designer & Certified Retrofit Designer.I also teach at Loughborough University where I am the Module Leader for our final year Architecture Students. The key ethos of the studio is to provide an open and collaborative environment where ideas can be shared and developed.
