I'm honored to be a 2024 Audie Finalist for my contribution to George Mann's STAR WARS: THE BATTLE OF JEDHA (THE HIGH REPUBLIC). I was also a 2023 Audie Finalist for Matt De La Peña's Children's book, PATCHWORK. I followed it by voicing fourteen people in the brutally realistic RIKERS: AN ORAL HISTORY by Graham Rayman and Reuven Blau, earning a 2023 Earphones Award. I started my audiobook career in the 2022 Penguin Random House Audio Narrator Mentorship Program. I was mentored by Dan Zitt (2024 Grammy Award for Michelle Obama's BECOMING and 2024 Book of the Year Award for Bono's SURRENDER). I've recorded 12 titles to date including solo narrator turns for THE REBELS by Joshua Green (Political Figure Biographies & Memoirs), EXCELLENT ADVICE FOR LIVING by Kevin Kelly (Wellness/Philosophy), and THE CASE AGAINST THE SUPREME COURT (Domestic Politics/U.S. History). Other genres I've recorded include Teen & Young Adult, Literary Fiction, Spiritual Fiction, Crime Fiction, Science Fiction, Suspense & Thriller, and Mystery & Thriller.Before audiobooks I was a successful actor. I am the only actor in Broadway history to star as both Jean Valjean and Inspector Javert in LES MISERABLES. I made my Broadway debut in the Original Cast of the Tony Award-winning KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN and created the role of Reverend Gonzalez opposite Marc Anthony and Ruben Blades in the Original Cast of Paul Simon’s THE CAPEMAN. I received the 2019 Connecticut Critics Circle Award for my portrayal of Cervantes/Quixote in MAN OF LA MANCHA (one of my favorites) and performed roles from Shakespeare to Neil Simon throughout the U.S, Europe and in London's West End.Some television appearances include guest star roles on BULL (CBS), BLUE BLOODS (CBS) and THE BLACKLIST (NBC) and recurring roles on HULU’s THE PATH and GOTHAM (FOX). I also played opposite Edie Falco and Tony Shalhoub on NURSE JACKIE, Debra Messing on MYSTERIES OF LAURA, Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu on ELEMENTARY and Dylan McDermott on HOSTAGES.
