Acting as a sole trader I developed strategic relationships with an international security/locking manufacturer, an IT development business and an architectural metalwork/fabrication company focusing primarily on sales, marketing & business development.

After the joining together of recognised brands ASSA & UNION I headed up a team of National Specification Development Managers. Responsible for developing sales for distribution through architects, designers, clients & end users

Heading up a team of Specification Development Managers and Sector Specialists in Health & Eductation. Challenged with raising the brand awareness of UNION with architects, designers, specifiers & end user clients

Working initially with the 3 most recognised security brands of UNION, Yale & Chubb I was tasked along with my team of developing specifications with architects, end user and clients.

I initially joined the business as a sales consultant to specifically focus on specification and devloping close relationships with specifiers. The shareholders then made a number of decisons which took me from Sales Manager to Managing Director. Responsible for growing sales through specification, development of people and overall running of the business

This is where it all started in the world of 'architectural ironmongery' and my Dad said i was just going for a chat! I worked with what can be affectionally called the 'old school' and they helped craft me into where I am now. They instilled some core values about business, the importance of your clients, getting the job done right first time and to smile while your doing it.
