During the 1980's I amassed a wall off silver, gold and platinum discs for my services as a session-musician, arranger and record-producer. Further to my removal back to the UK in 1990, I set up MBM (Music Business Management) initially to act as a management and/or agency for live music artistes. My wife Anne joined the company in 1994 and the rest they say is history. We find, create and nurture new artistes and shows. Now the company has grown (we also have a dance academy) we still specialise in musical acts, but have a wealth of expertise across the board from our long history in the business. Our goals at MBM are fairly straightforward and without sounding too much like a mission statement - we believe wholeheartedly that we are the company who through experience and knowledge can make every event a massive success!Specialties: I now have my own new business acting as a consultant to entertainment providers / venues and artistes. As a 'poacher turned gamekeeper' I know every trick in the book and know how venues, agents, managers and artistes can maximise their revenues through the internet and by using social media. I also act as manager for a handful of original artists.In 2016 I resigned from my post as Executive Vice President of The Entertainment Agents' Association Ltd., as I wish to work closer with artists as there are some agents out there who don;t seem to realise who's paying their mortgages!
