•Maintain and administrate both the Altiris Deployment and Notification Servers, including script installations for remote deployment, and management of the computer images that are deployed. •Solely responsible for developing new Windows XP and Windows 7 images to be deployed through out the Health System. Current project involves: Office 2010, Adobe Reader, Desktop 7000 (connects to the patient care clinical mainframe), Attachmate (connects to patient billing mainframe), Microsoft Host Integration Server (mainframe network connection host for Attachmate and Desktop 7000), WinZip 9, Java, and MacAfee Virus Scan. Software is deployed either through the Altiris Deployment Server, or via the Notification Server.•These Images will be used to configure new as well as upgrade as many as 5000 devices in the health system, for approximately 10,000 users.•Responsible for maintaining both the Altiris Notification and Deployment servers. In a technical lead roll, I will create PC images, and software packages for deployment. In addition to that, they have me migrating to the new Altiris SMP 7.1 system. •Currently using WSUS to deploy Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Patches to Temple University Health System Enterprise. Am responsible for testing patches prior to deployment, as well as coordinating follow-up and feedback for all issues.•Assist asset management team by generating reports on our assets via Altiris.•Responsible for documenting PC software installs and updating older install documentation.•Mentoring PC tech team junior staff.•Third level support technician. Responsible for resolving issues escalated from the help desk and level two PC Techs.
