Category And Customer Insights Manager
CurrentAccount support responsibility: +25 chains, eg: 7-Eleven, Go Mart, Thornton's, Par Mar, True North, Five Star Food Mart, Buc-ee's, Englefield Oil, Bell Stores.• Cultivate business relationships with top retailers to establish the company as a key partner in category management.• Act as the expert on Category & Customer Insights, mastering POS, loyalty card data, and space management software.• Gain extensive knowledge of products, strategies, and competitive trends in our categories and customers.• Manage the development and implementation of assortment optimization, new product launches, and pricing/promotion analysis.• Collaborate with chain account teams as a category advisor to enhance customer value and engagement.• Use data from various sources to create analytics and sales stories, identifying risks, opportunities, and performance gaps.• Work with Sales, Brand Marketing, and other teams to provide category insights to customers.• Provide ad-hoc category management reports, trend analysis, and special project work to internal/external leaders.• Stay updated on Category Management developments and improve departmental capabilities.
